  • This tool was developed by Speech and Language Therapists is Lambeth, London UK.
  • The aim of the tool is to find out from the young person what is important to them about communication.
  • This is a visual self-rating tool designed to be either printed or used digitally (as a PowerPoint).

"I statement" Screening tool

  • This tool is provided courtesy of R. Newcombe.
  • It consists of a brief questionnaire to in which the young person answer a series of true/false statements. 
  • This can help identify themes in their thought process and communication needs.
